I find the beach to be so beautiful, almost poetic. I live to stand in the waves. I live to gaze out to the horizon where the sea joins the skyline. I live to stand their and think, “This is the edge of the country.” The beach is where I feel the most focused and strapped into my own body. My thoughts are clear, and I don’t feel as heavy.
